many to many relationships

Hi everyone,

I have doubts about many to many relationships...
is compulsory to simplify them?
what happens if i dont simplify.... report data will be wrong or maybe is a performance issue?
Where do i have to simplify the model, in the database view or in business view?

It all depends on whether many-to-many is the correct join stategy. It could cause reports to be wrong or performance issues. That being said it could also be correct the correct join method. It's not a matter of making it more simple it's what you need to do to make it correct.
