Many larg(ish) iles in upload folder

I have 400+ files sitting in e:\uploads on the front end server
This is taking up 10Gb of space and I wondered what it was there for?

I've copied some file details below

The admin server has the same folder but it’s empty
The Remote cache has no such folder.

Anyone able to advise what these are, and whether they're safe to remove?
I could move them somewhere and if nothing is reported in the next 2 weeks
then I could look at removing them?

that looks like the processes are not cleaning up.The mechanism that is employed is someone uploads a file,it goes through the upload or the
webserver's temp if the upload wasnot configured.When the file is made into livelink the process should delete it meaning the service user
should be a user who has Admin and Full rights on that folder.

Perhaps the RC was dumping it to be picked up by a scheduling mechanism

I would make some tests by basically sending a bunch of huge files from the RC side and see if they all make it correctly to the
mothership,if file integrity is maintained then you have nothing to worry about.

Also as a rule run DB5 verification where it tests if Objects in livelink has version files and vice versa and ask OT to
correct any missing data integrity problems.

As such if you dont think you have lost data I see no problem in deleting old files to get space.
