Dears,

Can Any body help in creating a button to enter the weight for manually weight , with preset price :

for Example :
Item Name /Price per Kg
Sea Food by KG / 5.0$

by default when select the item the system open Keypad to enter the weight.

We need to do some customization by entering the Total Price instead of weight .

If you enter 20.0 Then the system post the weight automatically( 4 KG)
if any body can help
in using below event/
Micros.PosCore.Extensibility.Ops / OpsEventType () / OpsWeighedMiEvent

Thanks,

Select the Enterprise, property, revenue center, or zone, click Configuration, and then click Menu Item Maintenance.
Click Search to show all menu items, and then double-click a menu item master record.
Click the Definition Records tab in the lower area of the screen.
In the Tare Weight field, enter the weight of the empty package for an item that is sold by weight.
Click Save.
Select the Enterprise, property, revenue center, or zone, click Setup, and then click Control Parameters.
Click the Options tab, and then select 13 - Convert Weight to System Unit of Measure.
You must set this option in the United States to comply with the Department of Agriculture Weights and Measure requirements. Setting this option allows the POS client to convert the item weight to the property’s UOM if the UOM received from a scale does not correspond to the UOM set from the Property Parameters module.
Click Save.

Configuring a Weighed Menu Item
There are two ways to configure a weighed menu item:

Assign the menu item to a menu item class that has option 15 - Weighed Items set.
Set a Tare Weight for menu item definition. See Understanding Tare Weight and Setting the Tare Weight for a Menu Item for more information.
