To all,

I am trying to manually input network information to a 4621Voip phone at a remote location. We have the phone plugged into a switch at the remote site and I have added the Ip range to our network-map form on the 87XX. I have tried the (mute) 73738#, (mute) 23373 #, (hold) 73738 and all other combinations but I cant get to the screen. We are running 2.9 firmware on the phone. I can get into the 96XX with no problem.

Any suggestions

While the phone is booting up, you should see * to Program and this will take you into the settings. If the phone is booted up, use the [mute] 2337# to get into the settings.

Randyb19,

I never see the * to Program on the 4621 phone thats the problem. I see it on the 96XX sets.

The phone was downloading the firmware of the Kestrol server, detecting VLAN id and downloading the seetings for the phone that have been saved. Once it is complete the phone reverts back to its assigned extension. I either want to clear the phone or at least be able to manually put in the addresses. Another thought is that a few weeks back we disabled FTP on the Kestrol server since these phones use HTTP for download. Can that be an issue? Also does the new 5.2 CM not allowing me to break into the 46XX? I thought I might have read somewhere that the 46XX werent being supported any longer. I could be wrong about that
