I have handbooks and manual in pdf format, how can i create a cd of this manuals and make it searchable? this cd will be distributed to members of the organization.

Thanks for the reply. what i need to know is how to create a menu for this assorted pdf file, maybe an auto run cd that would display all the pdf files inside the cd and searchable from the menu.Do i need additional softwates for it if so, what softwares do i need. Thanks

Your menu could be a PDF itself, for that matter. Just make a nice document listing your constituent PDFs, making those hyperlinks. Or it could be HTML, same thing: it would contain hyperlinks to the PDFs. Am I on the right track, or do I still misunderstand your question?

thanks for the suggestion, but how can i make it searchable from the start menu, i mean a specific part of a specific doucument? then how can i make the cd auto run?

Make what searchable? PDFs are already searchable, assuming they are text. For making a collection of PDFs searchable, use Acrobat Catalog.
