Manually removing an order or batch

I need to manually remove a test order and batch so I can remove a payment module. The process as listed in the Miva website (process and delete all orders) does not work. Any help is appreciated. (version does not support deactivation of modules)

What version of Merchant are you using?
If the order is part of the batch, you can delete the entire batch, then pack the files, and that should do it. --------------

I'm using version 4.0. I tried that approach but the order still appears, i.e. it is not removed.

Well, then, as may be obvious: something is haywire.

If you are logging in as the main Merchant admin user, and you have order #1, and Create Batch that includes order #1, then open order #1 and choose Delete, then Delete Batch, and it still appears - your system is broken.

If you have a plain-vanilla dBase III-compatible DBF editor, you can manually flag the order for deletion then re-upload it, then Pack, but that would be a last resort. --------------
