I've got a reference that I've used before that states to manually position a form you need to:
1) Have Autocenter set to NO
2) Have Resize set to No
3) In Design View position form where you want it
4) Save and exit Design View without doing anything else

I've tried this and every permutation of this I can think of without success. I've tried MoveSize as well without success; I can get the top positioned horizontally and vertically, but when I go to increase the height to show all of the form, the vertical position goes higher.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks

I'm not sure, but I think that if resizing and repositioning only takes effects if you move or resize a control on the form. What I do is resize and reposition the form to what i want, then move a control (textbox) on notch back and forth, and then save and exit the form... and then it looks like it stays in the position you want.

Thanks for your help, Pampers! I finally figured out the problem. I'd imported a form resizer function in the wee hours of the morning and forgotten I'd done it. I'd used it before without a problem, but this time it was causing the form to be unresponsive to the usual ways of positioning. Once I did away with the code for that the form settled down where it belonged.

Thanks again!
