Hello,

I've created a survey questionnaire page using the Form Wizard in FP 2002. All the questions use the one of several options format, with radio buttons.

Upon viewing the results page, I decided that I needed more descriptive names for the variables that store the answers.

I tried changing the variable names in HTML view but that didn't work. I suspect that I need to edit some other file but I'm not sure where to look. Help!!

Michael

Hi Michael,

If all you want is to change the names, double click each field >> set the Group name: to the same name for each group of radios and use the Value: for individual names.

For anything else, a URL for the form page might help.

Hope I have been of some help,
Micheal Smith

Hello Mike,

Yes, all I needed to do was change the variable (field) names. I just did it and it worked fine. It was almost too easy. And to think I've been tearing my hair out over this for the last two days. Yes, you have been of much help. Thanks.

Mike M.

Hi Mike,

Glad thats what you needed.

I pulled my remaining hair out already.

Hope I have been of some help,
Micheal Smith
