I'm looking for the procedure for setting up a manual night button on a UCX50 4.5 with Yealink t38G telephones. I have been working with the timed groups and Day/Night feature codes but can't seem to get it to work.

I send all calls to a ring group (600) first then delay if no answer to an IVR Day. I would like to manually play a night message with a button bypassing the ring group and IVR.

where is the inbound route pointing
how is the time group - time conditions configured
how is the day/night - call flow control configured

Thanks for mentioning flow control I've never used that feature. so easy. Thanks

Call Flow Control is the quick and easy method to do this. "Normal Flow" is Ring Group. "Override Flow" is the message you recorded in system Recordings\Announcements. Or, you can even build a Night IVR with options and use that for the "Override Flow".
Call Flow Control is an awesome feature that can be used for many things!

FYI- If you use Call Flow Control, BE SURE to change the "Set destination" in the Inbound Routes to be the Call Flow Control and NOT the Ring Groups or IVR. We've seen quite a few folks leave this step out and thne scratch their heads wondering why it isn't working!
I hope this helps...Have a blessed day....
