Manual for Merlin Mail V7.5

Hi, the Avaya web site has manuals, planning forms, etc, for up to Merlin Mail Release 3. I called Avaya, and the latest version they said they had any record of was release 3. What do I do for manuals for Release 7.5 ?

The R7.4 and R7.5 Merlin Mails are really R2 under a different label. Download the R2 manual (not R2.2 which is multi-lingual) and you should be good to go. Brian Cox

Thank you. It seems the R7.5 can't do what we wanted - forward an incoming call to an outside number after hours if the caller selects an "Urgent message" option from the menu - so we're looking for an upgrade. There's a R2.2 on eBay - does anyone know if that can do that ?

None of the Merlin Mails have this feature. All they will do is notify a pager or outside phone number when you get a mailbox message. They will not connect you to a live outside party. Brian Cox

Are you sure, Brian... In another thread, "TouchToneTommy" gave me a procedure to do it on the Release 3.

I'm not familiar with that thread, but I was answering whether the Merlin Mail could transfer to an outside party. I think this could be accomplished by using call forward on an extension to an outside number in a Legend or Magix system, but this is a function of the phone system, not the voicemail.
