Hi All,

THis is a weird problem.

When a system drops a file for the compliance check and the commerce manager, we dont see any out put or the compliance summary updated and it just writes a two line reject with two blank spaces in it.

When we manually drop the file,it fails at the commerce manager which is another problem that the look up files in the share folder not getting updated even when the trade links are prescent.

we are using 7.5.

can somebody advise/help with theese weird/wild goose chase problems.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Your file is rejecting. Depending on the version of CM you're using you should have a folder with the reject summary. Problem is that occasionally it looks like your original file is gone. You'll find it in the CM archive folder structure for the day it was processed.

We put together a system to monitor the reject folder and notify the appropriate people of any issues.

Eyetry,

Good idea, but sometimes, the reject folder files do not have the EDI message within it. What do you do then?

What I did was, I wrote a map which runs every 60 mins against the CM Database. It gets the list of failed files, the ISA number, Group, Transaction, Sender Receiver and the segment with the error and the bad data. Basically all the data is then formatted into an email and the email is sent to a dist list including the sender of the message telling them that the files were rejected. It has saved us a lot of time.
