Manual Cross Tab Report

I found some limitations when trying to build a cross tab report in impromptu using the query wizard. I was wondering if it is possible to build a cross tab report in improptu manually. That is, without going throught the query wizard for cross tab reports. That way, I can have full control on my data representation for my report.
I would appreciate any help.

Bensta,

Sure. Just create a summary-only report. Then in the Report | Query | Data screen, press the Build Crosstab button. Then move the non-aggregated data into either the rows or columns you desire.

Thank you Dave for your reply.
I did try that option but when I wanted to add some detail info and group it, it did not work. What I did to work around I had to insert a form frame and addedd 3 labels; Total Amount, Total Orders, Total Lines. And then for each time frame I had to insert a form frame and drag each detail info into it. You ready for each locatio -> this how many total dollar amounts for each period of time. And I have time dimension of over 10 categories. This what my cross tab should look like. It coutinng the total summary grouped by location and Order Status(Sent or not sent to warehouse). I want to automatically add another group (Dollars Lines, Orders)just like below. When I tried to do it from the cross tab query it does not wrok. That;s why I am wondering if I could do it manullay just like in Access or Crytal report? Thak you.
