Good morning guys

I work for an engineering firm. About once a year I work through our server and move data that is over a year old off the server and onto two archives (a tape and CD). I have always done this manually - ie. checking the directories each for the newest file in each one - and if that is over a year old then the whole directory is taken off the server. We have had a work explosion of sorts in the last 2 years, and we have hundreds of directories that may need archiving now.

What I am looking for is a program or system where I can list the folders with the date of the newest file in that folder next to it - I can then decide to archive or not.

Does anyone know of such a program or is this something I may have to get programmed?
cheers
Brett
