wanting to manipulate the colors on the swatch palette, do i have to manually key in values for a new color, or is there a color bar I can experiment with?

ID doesn't have a selector such as is in Photoshop. that would be nice, I suppose. But the ID2.0 version is still very nice.

Go to Swatches palette and select the Create New swatch from the menu (little arrow at top right of palette). You can choose spot color or process, and select between CMYK or RGB or more, depending on the output you desire.

If you select CMYK, for instance, ou will have 4 sliders for the 4 colors, and you can mix and see the results in a box.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

thanks so much, that really helps

Also, it is easy to change colors on the Color Palette. That one has an Illustrator type of color selector, and allows you to change colors quite easily, for text or elements such as lines, etc.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
