There's no function in Crystal Reports 6.o that will change the format of a text string to leading caps (e.g., convert the text strings "rice" or "RICE" to "Rice". Anyone know of a workaround, third party add on, whatever, that will accomplich this?

There is a user-defined function in Seagate's web site:<br>
located in their technical papers. Select USER-FUNCTION libraries and download UFLCAPS.EXE<br>
There should be instructions on where to place this .DLL file.<br>
Once it is in place, when you are looking at the formula editor, you will see it as an available function.

Thanks. I actually found this after I started the thread- I've downloaded it and checked it out - it works fine. thanks for the response
