I am using copying a chart over to word using vba.

I encounter several problem having the language do what I want.
First I just tried to copy the chart directly from excel to word. However, this bring the entire excel document with it causing an extremely bloated file and cause my computer to grind to a halt. ( I am coping a lot of charts from excel to word.)

Second I tried to copy it as a picture from excel to word, however when I did this it would stay with the sizing I set in excel.

third I figure since it would stay with the sizing i set in excel I would just modify the size of the picture when I got to word. However, as everyone knows this distorts the picture.

Any suggestions on how I could copy a chart from excel to word and matain the size of the chart that I set in excel. Or does anyone know why it doesn't retain the size when I copy it?

thanks for the advice.

DaTaHuGGeR,

When you insert the chart as a pic, and resize, set the LockAspectRatio property BEFORE you change the width or height property (only change ONE).
