Windows Server 2003 - XP SP2 Clients - I use the Home folder to connect to U:\ in a shared folder called 'UserAreas'. It has to be given 'Everyone' for Share permissions so everyone can access it so they can save there own personal documents. However, each user can view and edit each others documents if they browse to them. I want to set it up so they can only access there own individual folders. I don't want to have to set up each individual users folder NTFS permissions. What is the best way to get around this so the server can do this automatically and the permissions are set correctly?

I would guess that "everyone" has full access.
Change access to change permission to owner.

@Everyone' has full access in share pemissions. How should I set the security at the top level so this works? I'm not 100% on how you do the change permissions to owner bit?

On the share level you remove full permissions and setit up to change permissions.

How many users we are talking about?
