Mandrake Firewall

Hey I am running that Mandrake single firwall edition and I am trying to VPN to a outside source but the firewall will not allow me to do this. I thought I opened the port up but it does not seem to make any difference the port is 1723 right does anyone know how to make this work? Thanks

you will have to allow protocol 47 to, this is not a port it is a protocol.

I used to use this command with smoothwall,

ipfwd --masq *.*.*.* 47 &

change the *'s to the ip u want the machine you want to forward it to
