Here is a work-around. Red Hat and Mandrake are supposedly very similar, so the directories should be enough alike to make this work. Also, the binaries "should" be compatible.

I am no longer running RH5.2 only because the Release 3.3.2.5 XF86-SVGA driver (and 3.3.3.1, which I downloaded) are not compatible with my SiS6326 AGP card, so I'm having to do this from memory.

/usr/X11R6/.../bin/X is a syslink to the real X server and
/etc/X11 is a syslink to /usr/X11R6/.../X11 (where ... means "I forget what goes here").

Look at your working RH6.0 setup and see which X server is linked to X. If Mandrake has that server, just link to it and you should be done. If not,try copying the RH6.0 driver to the Mandrake /usr/X11R6/... directory and linking to it.
This assumes Mandrake uses the new glibc,as does RH, I think a very good assumption. You will need to copy XF86Config over also so you have all the correct settings, but it is just a text file.
Best wishes.
