We currently use roaming profiles in our environment but want to change these to mandatory profiles.
I've configured the profile we're going to use as the default mandatory profile, copied it to the network folder called "mandatory", gave permissions to the correct security group, renamed NTUSER.DAT to NTUSER.MAN and then pointed a users profile path in AD to this network folder.
This user seems to be picking up the profile but when the user logs off it is creating a new folder called mandatory.v2 and there is a NTUSER.DAT file in there instead of NTUSER.MAN.The next time the user logs on they will use the ntuser.dat instead of ntuser.man
Anyone any ideas on how to stop this or if there is anything I'm doing wrong?
