I have just rebuilt a server that had a motherboard fault. The original domain was in a right mess, so I have started again. The system works just as we want it now. Exept for the Mandatory profiles.

This is what is happening on 95% of the workstation any of the users can log in and they get there respective desktop from there group. The file redirects for My Documents works fine also.
On a few of the workstation when Any user logs on they receive an error message about Synchronization.
The error read:
\\sps:\9sday$ Unable to caonnect. Network Name not found.

I do not have a share called 9sday and never have. There may have been one on the old server but I cannot be 100%

Dose anyone know where it could be coming from?

Thanks

It seems like that those few computers have same stale recoprds or they might be in some diff OU which might be getting diff set of GP.
Run gpupdate /force on the affected comp. This will clear any stale entry on those comp which is pointing to the non exsisted share during log on.
Also run check what GP those comp are getting. They might be in some diff OU so they are getting some differnt logon policies etc.

Thanks for the Idea. I found it, there were manual synchronizations set up on some of the PC,s.

Some times its the simple stuff :)
