I'm trying to clean up some directories.

I can't figure out how the files in the queues directory correspond to my Print Queues. Can the .qdr files in the Queues directory be matched up with their corresponding queues ?

I would also like to move the Print Server and Queue directory to from SYS:\System to DATA:\system on another server with out rebuilding the printers on every PC.

Also have a " !" for all the print layouts next to the Print server entry. All the printers work. Why the !

Running Netware 4.11
Have HP Jet Direct software running but
use NWADMIN to manage.

Well - I found it myself so I thought I'd share

In a dos window from a WIN 95 PC
nlist queue show "queue directory"

this lists the print queues Novell names and their corresponding .qdr directories. I found two that were no longer being used.

If your printers on your PC were added pointing to the printer and not the queue...then you can create a new queue on the right volume, point the printer at the new queue in NWADMIN. I found the first time I printed to it I had to remove the check in the printer box from work offline.
Then delete the old queue.

Can't find the reason for the "!" on the Print Servers in NWADMIN print layout. But JetAdmin has to have a print server to locate the printers on the network.
