My company has just upgraded to exchange 2007. Since we were coming from exchange 2000, and both servers were SBS, I exported and imported the public folders, which went well, but have run into 2 issues

we have one folder \projects that contains a few hundred sub folders that are all mail enabled.

1) is there a way I can hide all the sub folders from the GAL without manually needing to open each folders propertys in the PF management tool and selecting "hide from exchange address lists"?

2) is there a way that I can automatically have new sub folders mail enabled? We have a project management system that automatically creates the public folders when new projects are opened, and I don't want to have to open the PF management tool to select the new folders every day to mail-enable them. I do have the address policy set up so that they get good addresses automatically.

I have played around with the powershell console for a while, and spend a several hours searching google, but have had no luck yet. for both issues, if I have to run a powershell script, that's fine. I can always use a scheduled task to execute the scripts daily.
