Hi,
I manage a mix of ARCserve2000 and ARCserveIT 6.6 installations.
I would like to manage them from a central management console instead of using remote control of the servers.
Have used 6.6 WE on the console and it worked fine when all servers used 6.6 WE. Now I have upgraded four server sites to ARCserve2000 and Dr.Watson (ASMGR.EXE) appears when using Job status, attaching a ARC2000 server.
If I use ARC2000 on the console I get the same situation when the 6.6 WE server has a job setup for rotation scheme.
If the job has a custom scheme it works OK.
Multiserver sites using:
ARCserve2000 AE 7.0 build 1086 SP3 and QO04949
ARCserve2000 Backup Agent for Exchange
OS = NT4 Sp6a
Singel server sites using:
ARCserveIT 6.6 WE build 795
OS = NT4 Sp6a
Is it possible to get this to work or do I have to setup two different console machines?
Best Regards
Mike
