Hi

I've just made the change from XP pro to windows 7 pro and connecting to any remote systems using my ISDN2 modem in manager E no longer works,

Has anyone had success with this?

Any advise would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

You could add in a virtual XP machine from Microsoft.
And use XP-More.exe to manage more than one Virtual XP
After setting up the Virtual XP environment you can specify which modems to allow it to access

Thanks guys for you help

I have tried both methods with no joy, in XP mode I can see the channel getting selected the number dialled then it drops?

Did you check the settings in your modem driver/config? I'm not really having any problems with dial-up into my systems on straight windows 7 (pro). Have you tried running Manager E as Administrator? Have you tried setting Compatability Mode for XP SP3? If you run anti-malware/anti-virus on that computer have to tried completely shutting it all off just for one go at running the software? I recently found out that an anti-malware program I was using changed the security settings on my Windows\System32 directory and a couple others. After I left it expire and it was no longer running I suddenly could no longer install software that needed to put stuff there or do any Windows Updates. Finally one night I got bent out of shape and changed all the security settings so the Administrator was god and everything started working again, and I found out the user that had all the rights was the one created by that software....
