At our own company we are running win2003 server for a couple of weeks now. Whenever I start my IPO manager application 3.0 (40). The 2003 server complains about my PC running DHCP services. As soon as I stop the manager application DHCP services on the 2003 server no longer complains.

I know that both DHCP and TFTP requests start with a bootp record but I don't know how to make the 2003 server aware of the difference or how to change the manager app.

I think it's rather serious because at a customer site can happen the same and with the above combination disturb the customer site completely.

im seeing the same issue.

the manager is intercepting the bootp requests

No,
Thats not the case, when a DHCP server starts, it issues a bootp to find out wether there are other DHCP servers on the same subdomain. I think in this case the manager is not to blame but the configuration of the 2003 server. Otherwise 1000's of networks with IP-Office should have problems.

I think Avayaconsultant is on to something! See his suggestion.

Of course that a good suggestion but at the moment we even are not running an IP-Office. Only working offline with the manager caused the problem.
Together with our system manager I discoverd that as soon the manager application stops on my laptop, the 2003 server DHCP's services didn't encountered any problems.
