I have a problem with Windows2000Pro, when i try to use
those program that use management Console,i get this
messages "Couldn't find temporary directory or there are not
enough diskspace", but there are enough diskspace.
In Outlook Express when i should read mail, the mailmessages
don't show up in the usual reader, it shows up in attatchment and i have to open it with notepad.
All this where working before, and now it behaves like this.
Does anybody know what this is, i don't think i should have
to reinstall windows again??

Nilsson,

Had the same problem about a month ago in NT. In my situation I deleted a directory. You know all those .tmp files and TEMP directories that are sometimes created when beta-ing new programs. Well, Outlook needed one of them. If you had been deleting programs or changing the location of stored inbox files or profiles. If this is not your situation, then the following should be answered.

1.) It did work. When did the problem start?

2.) Which changes have been made? Installations or Configuration Changes?

3.) Exactly which programs do not run correctly?

I would suggest double checking pathways. Another way to bypass this is to install Outlook Express again. Please post if successful -Thankx -md

reinstall the snap-ins and email client. the only other instance this has popped up is when the HD, over 16gig is formatted with an old drive utility that doesn't understand the very large drive structure and creates odd sized sectors.
