I maintain several small offices containing a handful of computers. I've purchased and installed SAV Corporate for all offices, and they each have their own parent server in their offices that controls the updates, scanning, etc. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to setup a managed client to a parent server out on the internet somewhere and not on the client's LAN? It would make my life a lot easier if I could get all the clients to point at a single parent server for all their updates. I'd only have 1 server to keep track of rather than remoting into each one individually to see what's going on. I know ports would have to be opened on the firewalls to get it to work.
