Hi All,
I'm trying to work out how our company can use its managed environment inside citrix. The software seems to work ok, but I have a problem if mulitple people log in using the same username! Because it sees the citrix environment as one machine and manageed environment is passive (ie a request comes from the server machine with user BOB from machine CIT01) it lets you log in more than once on many machines. Here is my question...

Does citrix have a unique session identifier that it can pass instead of the machine name? Not worried about how, just wonder if it's possible?

thanks all

Which version of Citrix are you running, in version 4 (though it might only be in enterprise) you can set it so that each session has its own IP address so that it appears to be a different computer, this was put in for some applications that require it. I forget what the feature is actually called but its in the documentation.

hi, are you talking about the feature in its installation Documentation? Will this feature apply to Mac client?

TIA

Marvellous!
I'm getting further down this line of enquiry now! Just one more question....
Can you assign an IP address to a user and machine? So that every time bob logs in from terminal 1 he gets IP address 100.100.10.1 and if he logs in on terminal 2 he gets IP address 100.100.10.2 etc..?
thanks again

Iain
