Hi Guys,

What's the best way of managing data backups on work stations. Ideally I'd rather not have the user have to do anything and run this all from a GPO in Server 2008.

I've not done this before and I'm not sure where to start.

Any tips would be most welcome.

Cheers,

How do you have your backups running now? Is this a 3rd party backup software or the built in windows backup?

We use Robocopy.

But this isn't ideal as it is heavily reliant on the client actually running the task and configuring it...

I would prefer to have something more centrally managed without involving users.
