I have downloaded the free Cisco Network Assistant and I am loading my various devices without troubles with one exception.

My core switch is a Cisco Catalyst 6513, almost fully loaded also running layer 3 and acting as my core router. In order to using the Cisco Network Assistant software, I need to be able to manage the switch via http. I can tell this because when I add a device, it specifies port 80 and won't let me change it.

I have run the "ip http server" command on the switch but I am unable to connect to it via a web browser. Do I need to upload the pages or upgrade the supervisor to be able to do this?

any help is appreciated.

Also, even if it was, you would need
switch(config)#username bla priv 15 password blablabla
switch(config)#ip http authentication local
Unless you would authenticate to a RADIUS or TACACS+, then you would need AAA commands.

ok, so lets suppose I'm not using it with Cisco Network Assistant software, I just want to manage the switch via a web interface. how do I go about doing that?

I have already set up radius authentication on the switch and its working fine.

When I attempt to connect via web browser, I don't get a 404, I just get a blank page.
