Man pages not working on AIX 4.3.

Hi,

I have one AIX box and never used AIX before and man does not work on machine

Keep getting the following for all commands

bash-2.01# man ls
There is not an entry for ls.
bash-2.01#

I did a search for what is installed


bash-2.01# pwd
/usr/share/man
bash-2.01# ls
cat1 cat3 cat5 cat7 catl info man2 man4 man6 man8 mann
cat2 cat4 cat6 cat8 catn man1 man3 man5 man7 manl whatis
bash-2.01#

Can you help? I don't have any of the original cds to install software.

try giving a vlue to MANPATH
MANPATH=$MANPATH:/usr/share/man
