I installed solaris 7 on new Intel machine. The man commane was working fine. But one fine day I switched off the power directly. Then I rebooted the system. After that all is working fine except the MAN command. If i want to search for anything using man , it says that

I don't have a solution for you but just a few hint:
1) the man path should be in /usr/share/man
or /usr/man
2) use command "env" to see how is the path for "man" command
3) unless you or someone else have access as root and accident (or purpose) remove/disable the path of "man" command then it's not there or even the "man" command is removed too

I don't know if these can help you, but just a thought.
