We have a four year old Mammoth-2 Drive which we use for our daily backups.
Over the past three days, the backup has failed on two occasions with the message "OVER TEMP" on the drive.
The log file from the drive looks worrying; "Component exceeded operational lifetime". Is the device getting too hot because of a faulty fan? (41 degrees C) or is this just a simple media error?

We have recently upgraded the firmware to v07w because of a compression issue (which the upgrade did not resolve!)
