correct... seeing that there is a lot of information to be gathered, and users tend to neglect security there (or in most cases can't really do much about security on the smart phones to begin with)...

Anyone ever hear of malware that runs a java or flash script (or whatever) that could steal your windows key code?? Seems like that would be something that would have been invented.

I mean, if some of the various key code "revealing" programs can do it within windows, seems like malware could also do that and I would have thought that would have been valuable to someone.

Then again, activation would flag the key code as having been previously activated. Probably the show stopper.

Goom, there is no money to be gained by reading out the Key...

for installing Windows on PC's, it's easier to install a preactivated OEM version from the beginning...
