Malformed DNS reply from ????

We have a W2K sp4 server running Symantec Gateway v3.1 and we're finding a lot of warnings and some errors from Symantec. I can't find these errors listed in Symantec or Microsoft's KB. Any help is appreciated.

I've just noticed the same error. I'm running version 2.5 of NAV for gateways on a Win2k SP4 server with Exchange 2000.

I can't seem to locate any info anywhere regarding this error.

It looks like it's caused when Symantec receives a bad email and tries to perform a DNS lookup for the domain of the bad email. I just deleted the email from the Symantec queue and the problem went away.
