I have CR Pro V7.0 French and I try to make total with main report field and sub report field, the main report field and the sub report field are resumed sum fields.

The main report and the sub report are from two different tables and they don't have any link between.

Thanks to take it important

You will need to use variables.
If you were in V8 you could use the "Shared" variables, but I don't believe that they are available in V7. You will need the "Store" and "Fetch" functions that were used before shared variables. This lets you capture a subreport value from the main report.

You may have to download these functions from the Seagate web site if they aren't already part of your edition of CR.

Of course, you will also have to read up on variables in general. Ken Hamady

You can declare the scope (local, shared, global) of variables in v7 of SCR. This was a new feature with v7, and of course it didn't quite work right at first - make sure you have the v7 MR if you are using shared variables.
For more exciting information on this topic, see the FAQ on variables. Malcolm
