Making the cells of a column combo boxes

Hello:

Could someone please tell me how to make the cells of a column combo boxes. I want to make a column such that when I click on it a pre filled list drops down and the user only has a choice from what is already there. Thanks

Select your range
Go to Data>Validation
Choose List
Either enter your list of values, seperated by commas eg
Lion, Zebra, Camel

or reference a range which holds your LOV eg
=$A$1:$A$10

If you want your list to be on a different sheet, you will need to give it a name (Insert>Name>Define)
and then use
=RangeName
