Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with this, I have designed a site which needs flash player version 6. I have set the html to detect for 6 yet on some computers it loads only part of the site and on others (which I know don't have any players) it doesn't come up with a redirector to the flash download site. Can anyone tell me how I can ensure that unless the user has flash 6 player it will come up with "do you want to download" etc.

Thanks

The most common way to do this is to put a javascript detect script in the <head> of the html page which holds the movie.

You don't have to learn javascript to use them as there are loads which are free to download from the web - just type 'Flash detect javascript' into Google and you'll find one that suits you.
