Hi,
I have a PC with one removable IDE drive and an Adaptec 29160 adapter connected to a fixed drive and CD-ROM.
What I would like to be able to do is to use either the IDE or SCSI drives (but not together) to have 2 compeletely separete bootable OSs on the respective drives
(want to avoid bootmanagers and extra cost of removable SCSI at this time).
Is there anyway to make the SCSI drive invisible when booting off the ide drive - I have tried everything (I think) but nothing works - the drive is always visible to the OS which was booted from the IDE drive (the other way around works easily since I can either turn off/remove the drive or turn it off in bios) ?
