I have Crystal Reports 8.5, and have developed a number of reports which would be useful to other users in my company.
However, I don't want to have to purchase a Crystal licence for each user if I can help it - Is there any such thing as a 'report viewer' tool that these users could use to run the reports I have developed, without having to install the full Crystal reports software on their PC?
These users are widely spread across a WAN and don't all have access to the same server, so I would have to email the reports to each individually, rather than having a central repository.
Does anyone know of a solution?

In addition you may have a couple of other options :

1. You can export the report file in to other format such as Word, Excel, HTML, RTF, Text, or PDF.

2. Or if you want to keep it in the .RPT format you can download the Crystal's Compiled Reports and Report Distribution Expert (scr8_distr_expert.exe).

Keep in mind it for use with Crystal Reports 8.5 Developer's Edition

If they are going to RUN the reports they will need to be able to connect to the database, and that might mean setting up ODBC on each client. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
