I have a project I created in Access 2000 format using Office XP Pro.
The database is split between a tables mdb and a forms.mdb (The forms.mdb also included several reports and queries.)

I upgraded the Forms.mdb to Access 2002 so I could make an MDE. When I try to make an MDE I get the following message:
"Microsoft Access was unable to create an MDE database."

MS's web site has turned up little. The forms.mdb file contains less than 20 objects unless you include the linked tables. It would then be around 30 or so.

Would I also need to update the tables.mdb before trying this? Would you have any other suggestions?

The forms.mdb database must be in ac2002 format and should compile without error before converting it to MDE.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Rock On! Thanks PHV. I didn't think to compile all the forms after migrating it from ac2000 to ac2002.
