No guarantees because it is completely unsupported. This may also only work under 32-bit Vista.

You have been warned!

[ul]
[li]Install VI 6.0 and apply latest SP (6?) you can get.[/li]
[li]Mark DEVENV.EXE to run as Administrator and Disable Desktop Composition.[/li]
[li]Replace ancient Triedit.dll and DHTMLEdit.ocx with the Vista versions.[/li]
[/ul]

Get the required Vista components by installing the download from DHTML Editing Control for Applications Redistributable Package (x86).

[ul]
[li]Go to: Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared[/li]
[li]Find the Triedit folder. Create an "Old Triedit" subfolder, move Triedit.dll and DHTMLEdit.ocx into it.[/li]
[li]Find the new DhtmlEd folder under "Microsoft Shared" and copy the two libraries from there into the old Triedit folder.[/li]
[/ul]

This will not address any of the other InterDev issues, but it will restore much of InterDev's HTML editing and previewing functionality under Vista.

If this produces any instability you can easily reverse the process. Happy editing!
