Hi!
I'm working for a television station in Norway. I'm making graphics for television news, and are currently working on a Mac, but soon I have to start using a PC.

The thing is that I have to have the option to view the picture I'm working with on a professional television screen. Today I've got an SDI video-output/-input card for this job. I't works like a dual-head card on a PC, the desktop continues onto the television screen.

Any ideas about how to make this work with Photoshop 7 and WinXP/Win2K?

Thankz :)

Not sure I understand your problem, but if you are creating graphic stills for video, to view them on an PAL, NTSC or SECAM set, the graphic should have the correct aspect ratio for that format in RGB colour and perhaps a .TGA (targa format)

Well, I am creating TGA-files when the graphics are finished. My problem was that I need to see the graphics on a professional television-screen while I'm working on them, in real-time. Saving them to TGA won't work.

My needs are a bit special since I'm creating television graphics. A computer-screen are in fact quite different from a television-screen.

I have now come across a range of broadcast-cards which might do just what I want, they are called BlueFish.

Thankz anyway :)

Have you checked into the ATI All-In-Wonder Pro128 cards? I use an older All-In-Wonder card to create digital image presentations using blocks of JPG's into wedding proof videos. I'm not sure they have the level of output you need or the international video format, but they're worth looking into.[peace] Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Seek and ye shall find!

All-In-Wonder is a great tip for those who need this feature and don't need broadcast-standards.

Unfortunality this card is not able to give me the picture-quality I need. The cards from Bluefish444 ( and Digital Voodoo ( are made to meet the demands of HDTV and other professional use.

To others who are looking for the same solution, I can really recommend them.
