Im trying to make a flash movie completely fill the browser window without any borders. Any Ideas?

all you need to do is set the movie size to 100% - you can do this through FILE>PUBLISH SETTINGS in the FLASH tab, or you can set it in the HTML itself ... just look for any tags that say WIDTH=??? and change the width to 100%.

Hope that helps you out!

hi

as an add-on to rgstewart[/]....

In the source code of the page put the following in the first <BODY...> tag:

MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0" LEFTMARGIN="0" RIGHTMARGIN="0" TOPMARGIN="0" BOTTOMMARGIN="0" scroll="no"

This gets rid of the nasty transparent border round your movie, pushing it right to the edge of the browser, it also gets rid of the scrollbar so everything looks very neat and tidy.

hi again

forgot to add....you'll have to check your movie's publish settings (ie: exact-fit/default/no-border). Depending on the dimensions of your movie you'll want to try each of them in turn. I've found that if your movie is more horizontal than vertical by 2:1 or more then use the 'default' setting, otherwise you're movie is stretched beyond recognition.

There's a full, well-explained tutorial on this subject at
have fun
