Making file 2 colors? 1

I have a file that I need to make 2 colors. I'm not great with Illustrator. How would I go about doing it. Obviously making it grayscale doesn't work.

What are your 2 colors??

If it's say black and a Pantone - - create the Pantone coor in your swatch menu. Then colorize your file to the colors you need. If you need more info send me a quick note.

My mind was mush this morning. I realized that I could bring it all into Photoshop > Grayscale > Dualtone!!
