I suggest you to get hold of the December 2000 copy of the VBPJ (Programmer's Journal). It contains an introductary article pp74-78 written by Stan Schultes: "Build your Own ActiveX Control"
Its code can as of this morning still be downloaded from: Go to near the bottom of that page: FTP Magazines and look for VBPJ. Select download and you get a zipped file VB0012.ZIP. Unzip that file and look for VB0012GS. That's the one that contains the code
