So we all know that we are not suppose to make changes to TN's that are aquired but Symposium, Genesys or any other software. And we are also not suppose to make changes to TN's that have an ACD key (we must out and recreate the TN with the desired changes).
However, with MTE (Meridian Terminal Emulator) front end for MAX, there is a feature that allows one to change the ACD queue of telephones. Those changes are then apparent when you print the TN.
Is it a safe practice to change the ACD on acquired sets through Meridian MAX/MTE? Does anyone have a Nortel Bulletin that sheds some light on the subject?
The PBX in question is running rls 25.40b and yes I know Max has been EOL since forever, but I am looking for some insight on the matter.
Thank you,
