Opt 61c- 3903 and 3904 phones-
In the quick reference guide for the 3903/4 phones it states that in order to make a call from the callers list one must first edit the number to add a 9 and a 1 for LD. It seems like Nortel would have though of this and been able to add this to phone numbers that are not internal calls. Has anyone heard of this, or, any rumors as to if this is going to be changed? It is inconvenient to the user, thus much complaining follows.
Thank you

I don't know much about the 3903's, but it would seem to me that Nortel would not add this in as not all customers use a 9+1 for long distance. In my office, for example, we dial 8+1.

But still, wouldn't you think that should be programmable.

I see what you mean, I read the instructions for using this feature. I guess maybe it isn't programmable because of those that use LD access codes. Or maybe, they just want to make our lives that much more miserable by having to deal with those that don't want to press a couple of extra buttons!
