Using Corel WordPerfect X3, whenever I select the name of a file from a list of files (I'm a keyboard user, using it rather than the mouse whenever possible), a small box appears after a few seconds just below the selected file name, which gives information about the selected file: its type, the date and time it was last modified, and its size. If the selected name is that of a folder, the box gives the folder's size and the names of the files in the folder, or at least some of them. All of this is valuable and helpful information, but the box containing the information covers up the names of other files in the list I'm looking at, and it doesn't go away after a few seconds like I would assume it would. Is there any way to turn this feature off?

In WordPerfect X4 you can turn of the "feature" by going to Tools ->Settings (Alt+F12) and Selecting Environment. Then, click on the Interface tab and uncheck the check box next to QuickTips.

I'm guessing that it would be something similar in X3.

Cheers.
